Sales
A Precision Pigging Sales Manager will generate business and increase revenues through sales of Precision Pigging services requiring knowledge of engineering and cost effectiveness. Tasks will include establishing and maintaining relationships with a variety of personnel in clients’ organizations, managing the sales call process, identifying opportunities and involving the appropriate resources to execute these opportunities. In addition to achieving continued growth within existing accounts, a key focus of this role is the development of new client/customer opportunities. A successful Sales Manager candidate will work closely with Operations and Research & Development to provide technical feedback from existing and prospective clients. The Sales Manager will also be required to generate accurate and fair bid proposals for distribution to clients. The successful Sales Manager candidate will also assist in the preparation of all marketing materials and will perform industry-specific research relative to market share and promotional strategies for presentation to upper management.
Additional Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of proven experience in pipeline inspection service sector sales preferred
- Proven ability to deliver on aggressive individual sales quota, increase market share by acquiring net new customers and grow revenues in existing accounts
- Experience writing and understanding complex proposals
- Established senior level contacts within the industry
- Extensive knowledge of the pipeline industry and marketplace trends
- Ability to prepare and deliver clear, effective presentations in a variety of formal settings at multiple levels within the customer's organization
- Highly developed selling, communication, customer relations, negotiating and decision making skills, normally acquired through substantial industry experience
