Design Engineering
1. Mechanical Engineer
Mechanical Engineer candidates should have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. Mechanical Engineer candidates must be able to design, test, and produce various functional components of Precision Pigging’s geometry caliper tool technology. You must be able to determine causes of component failure, and test manufactured products to maintain quality. Mechanical Engineer candidates must be able to provide time and cost estimates to complete projects. Mechanical Engineer candidates must be proficient in the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Mechanical Engineer candidates will also confer with other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information. A successful Mechanical Engineering candidate will be able to design and direct modification of proprietary tools to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. Mechanical Engineering candidates must be proficient in the use of computer-assisted design/drafting equipment and software.
Additional Requirements:
- College Degree in Mechanical Engineering required, post-graduate studies preferred. PE licensure preferred
- Computer Proficiency, including computer-assisted design/drafting equipment and software
- Superior Math Skills
- Excellent Verbal Communication Skills
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Electronic and/or Mechanical Background
- Must be able to pass Department of Transportation drug test and background check
- Ability to Perform the Physical Job Requirements (may include lifting)

2. Electrical Engineer
Electrical Engineer candidates should have a minimum of 5 to 10 years relevant experience. Electrical Engineer candidates must be capable of designing, developing, testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, repairing, and supervising the manufacture of electronic components. Electrical Engineer candidates will provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered. Electrical Engineer candidates will assemble electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments. Electrical Engineer candidates will set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of developmental parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions and record results. A successful Electrical Engineer will analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
