Precision Pigging tools range in size from 6-inch to 48-inch and serve both on-stream and new construction pipeline operations coast-to-coast and throughout North America. Precision Pigging geometry caliper tools are accurate to within 0.01 of an inch in detecting anomalies.

Our tools produce virtually no exaggeration or chatter. Customers receive detailed charts and analysis of data gathered from running Precision Pigging tools to allow accurate identification of recorded anomalies.

Precision Pigging’s multi-channel digital tool is capable of determining anomalies, wrinkles, buckles, pipeline ovality, valves, tees, girth welds, pipe wall thickness, the o’clock positioning on the pipeline wall, and bend data. This ruggedly designed tool can withstand the abuse of new construction and the rigors of on-stream production.

Research and development has begun on our next generation of geometry inspection tools: The current multi-channel tool has 16 channels to record data; the third generation tools will have at least 32 channels and plans are being made to potentially double that number for future tools. The increased number of recording channels will amplify the sensitivity of these tools for markedly better performance in data collection.
